    About Our Program

    Scenic Park has offered Chinese language and cultural lessons to all students since 2008 through a FLES program. Since 2016, Scenic Park has had the opportunity to offer a full Chinese Immersion program for Kindergarten through 5th grade.

    Lottery

    Kindergarten - first semester of 1st Grade - may apply without any knowledge of Chinese. After the first semester of 1st Grade, students may apply but must test into the program with knowledge of Chinese meeting the understanding of their current grade level.

    • Spring lottery opens for parents on February 1, 2025 for the 2022-2023 school year
    • Spring lottery closes for applications on March 20, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.
    • Spring lottery runs  March 21, 2025
    • Parent notifications released March 28, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.
