• The History of the Scholarship

    Since the second year of Nicholas J Begich Middle School, the Begich Family has offered three or four scholarships, at $100 - $200 per scholarship, for 8th grade students who demonstrate citizenship and leadership. In order to be considered, each student must complete an application and essay and provide a transcript.  Each 8th grade team selects one student and the scholarship is awarded at the eighth grade team celebration.
