English Language Learners / Gateway Program

Referral Process
1. Student is referred to the Family Welcome Center using the form linked on the Language Support Center website if the family also needs help with registration or directly through FWC staff (Katie Bisson or Michelle Yoon).
2. FWC staff will determine eligibility for entry to the Gateway Program in conjunction with King Tech HS counseling staff.
3. Criteria: student is ELL, 11th grade or older, lacks a transcript or has limited or interrupted formal education and is new to country; credits available do not provide a path to graduation at home HS.
