• A new ordinance (law) passed by the Î÷Ê©Ö±²¥APP Assembly on June 20, 2019 makes it unlawful for a driver of any vehicle to talk on a mobile communication device while driving a vehicle within an active school zone or on school grounds, unless the vehicle is stopped or a hands-free device is used.
• Keep eyes focused on students.
• Never leave vehicle unattended.
• Pull vehicle forward to the farthest available space along the sidewalk.
• Keep moving forward after your child exits the car.
• Be patient during peak traffic times.
• Students should exit the vehicle on the curbside.
• Keep moving forward if you don't immediately see your child.
