It is the goal of Î÷Ê©Ö±²¥APP School District to ensure the least amount of disruption to students and their families.
School will begin on the scheduled start date of August 18 for grades 1-6 and August 25 for PreK and K.
We have begun moving students to their new location in Q. ParentConnection can be accessed to find out if your student has moved. This is their new school assignment.
When we have more information to share, we will provide those updates via our website, our social media accounts, and Blackboard.

How do I find where my student will attend school this year?

If I haven’t registered or I am new to the area, how do I get my student registered?

- Registration begins August 2

How do I find out who my child’s teacher is?
- This information will be shared by the schools on Back to School night. Contact your school to find out when Back to School night occurs.

Will my child have transportation?
- Students zoned for Ursa Major and attending Aurora or Orion Elementary, transportation is available.
- Students zoned for Ursa Major and attending Ursa Minor will walk.

How will I find out where my child’s bus stop is?
- All ASD bus routes for the 2022/23 school year will be published on our website during the first week of August.

How is the lottery process impacted by the Ursa Major Elementary School relocation project?
- The lottery process remains the same. Students are guaranteed access to their zoned site.
- If students are showing as waitlisted, families should enroll into their neighborhood school at this time.

When will I be able to visit the school?
- In-person registration begins August 2.
- Schools are planning welcoming activities/events and will share more information soon.
