Organizations

This is a list of organizations and committees that operate with Steller Secondary. Often these are brought to Op Group through a proposal before they are started. 

• Operational Group (Op Group) - functions as our Student Government, with representation from both students, teachers, and staff at Steller. 
• Homecoming Committee - a function of Op Group that works specifically on Homecoming dances, along with the teacher sponsor(s). Please speak with Op Group.
• Prom Committee - a function of Op Group that works specifically on Prom, along with the teacher sponsor(s). Please speak with Op Group to learn more.
• Yearbook Committee - a function of Op Group that works specifically on yearbooks, along with the teacher sponsor(s). Please speak with Jason or Madi to learn more.
• Technical Production Club - a function of Op Group that works specifically with audio/visual technology such as DJ stations, theater lights, etc. for school dances and events. Please speak with Brian to learn more.
• Temple of the Bean - a function of OP Group that runs a cafe during Lunch (11:55AM - 12:55PM) on school campus. Please speak with Allison to learn more.
• Lounge Cleaning Committee - a function of Op Group that works specifically to keep the Student Lounge, where most students often spend their lunchtime, a clean and neat space. Speak with Op Group to learn more.
• E-Sports - a district sports team. E-Sports will not be meeting until 2nd Semester. Please speak with Jason to learn more.

Clubs

This is just a list of clubs that have been proposed to Op Group for the current school year. We cannot guarantee that these clubs are still active, and currently meeting.

• TTRPG (Table Top Role Playing Games) Club - meetings are Thursdays and Fridays during SDL (2:30 - 3:15pm) in Jessica's room (considered an additional space for D&D).
• Dungeons & Dragons - meetings are Wednesdays in Joe's Room from 2:30 - 3:15PM.
• Advanced Dnd 5e Club - meetings are Fridays during SDL (2:30 - 3:15pm) in Madi's room. 
• Magic the Gathering - meetings are Thursdays during SDL (2:30 - 3:15pm) in Bob's room.
• Floor Hockey Club - meetings are Fridays during lunch, and Wednesday and Thursdays during SDL (2:30 - 3:15pm) in the Gym.
• Origami Club - meetings are Wednesdays during SDL (2:30 - 3:15pm) in Katharine's room.
• Steller Soccer Club - meetings are Tuesdays and Wednesdays during lunch, and Fridays during SDL (2:15 - 3:15pm) in the Gym.
• Jazz Club - meetings are Wednesdays and Fridays in the MPR during SDL (2:30 - 3:15pm).
• Smash Bros Club - meetings are Wednesdays and Fridays during lunch in Jason's room. 
• Writing Club - meetings are Thursdays during SDL (2:30 - 3:15pm) in Jessica's room.
• Tea and (Bad) Poetry Club - meetings are Wednesdays and Fridays during SDL (2:30 - 3:15pm) in Allison's room.
• Aviation Club - meetings are Fridays during lunch and SDL (2:30 - 3:15pm) in Brian's room.
• Weight Club - meetings are Wednesdays and Thursdays during SDL (2:30 - 3:15pm) in the Weight Room (Gym).
• Mountain Biking Club - meetings are Fridays during SDL (2:30 - 3:15pm) in Candace's room.
• Crochet + Knitting Club - meetings are Thursdays during SDL (2:30 - 3:15pm) in Allison's room.
• Gay/Straight Alliance Club - meetings are Wednesdays during SDL (2:30 - 3:15pm) in Candace's room.
• Crafting Club - meetings are Thursdays during SDL (2:30 - 3:15pm) in Candace's room.
• Speedrun Club - meetings are Wednesdays and Thursdays during SDL (2:30 - 3:15pm) in Katharine's room. 
• Basketball Club - meetings are Thursdays during SDL (2:30 - 3:15pm) in the Gym.
