Homestead Elementary is Proud to Offer the SBBS Program!
At Homestead Elementary, we are committed to providing the best possible support for all of our students. That’s why we’re thrilled to offer the School-Based Behavior Support (SBBS) Program—a specialized service designed to support students in kindergarten through fifth grade who are eligible for special education services and have challenging behaviors.
Our SBBS Program is all about helping students thrive! Through the dedication of our specially trained staff, we deliver intensive, individualized interventions in supportive environments, empowering students to grow academically, socially, and behaviorally. The ultimate goal? To equip students with the skills they need to return to a less restrictive environment while fully accessing their education.
Here's what makes the SBBS Program at Homestead special:
- We create personalized education and behavior plans that focus on independence and academic success.
- Our team uses innovative strategies to teach frustration tolerance, problem-solving, and flexibility.
- Students receive self-regulation and self-management skills that help them thrive both in and out of the classroom.
- We partner with families and the community to provide a holistic approach to supporting student growth.
We believe that with the right support, every student can achieve success. The SBBS Program is just one of the many ways we’re making sure all students at Homestead are given the tools to be their best selves—academically and personally.
We’re excited to continue building a nurturing, supportive environment where every student can soar!
