Graduation—May 20, 2024

  • Congratulations SAVE High School Class of 2024! Graduation Announcement

    Graduates will be celebrated on Monday, May 20, 2024 at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts. Students and families can confirm with their sponsor teacher that they are on track to earn 22.5 credits prior to the graduation ceremony in order to participate in the commencement celebration.

     

    PARTICIPATING GRADUATES MUST HAVE A CAP, GOWN, STOLE, AND TASSEL TO PARTICIPATE. Follow this . If you have any questions, see Ms. Saloka.

     

    Location

    Alaska Center for the Performing Arts — Atwood Concert Hall

    621 W 6th Ave

    **Please no balloons or noise makers. Flowers and leis may be given to graduates following the ceremony in the lobby.**

     

    Ceremony

    3:00 PM—Graduates report to the backstage of the Atwood Concert Hall

    3:30 PM—Doors open for guests

    4:00 PM—Graduation Ceremony Begins

     

    Detailed Itinerary for Graduates

    8:15 AM—Seniors arrive at SAVE High. We will enjoy a breakfast with the staff and the AM session. (Breakfast is for graduates only)

     

    9:15 AM—Graduation rehearsal in the gym. You do not need your cap and gown for the rehearsal, only for the ceremony at 4:00.

     

    11:00 AM—Dismissal from SAVE High School.

     

    3:00 PM—Graduates report to the Atwood Concert Hall at the Performing Arts Center to line up for the ceremony. Please enter through the back stage entrance off of 5th Avenue.

     

    ***Anyone who would like to give a graduation speech is welcome to as long as their speech is typed and submitted in advance. It can be shared in Google docs or sent in an email to Kelly Saloka, your senior sponsor: saloka_kelly@asdk12.org. She will print your speech and place it into the graduation book that will sit on the podium on the stage for students to read from.
