    Lead by Doing 

    Since the second year of Begich Middle School, the Begich Family has offered three or four scholarships, at $100-$200 per scholarship, for eighth grade students who demonstrate qualities of citizenship and leadership.  In order to be considered, students must complete an application and essay and provide an academic transcript.  Each eighth grade team selects one student and the scholarship is awarded at the eighth grade team celebration.
