Based on the framework of the and of the American Library Association, ASD Libraries offer services and opportunities for all K-12 students, faculty and staff to become effective and responsible users of ideas and information. ASD Libraries provide access to printed, non-printed, and electronic resources for students, faculty, and parents. Students utilize library resources to complete assignments, explore ideas, and to select from a wide variety of recreational reading on many topics. ASD Libraries strive to create students who are information literate by developing students who have competence as active locators and users of information to solve problems and to satisfy their own curiosity.
