ESY is an annual IEP team decision. IEP teams make ESY determinations based on the unique needs of each student. ESY services could be provided in a site-based model, as itinerant services, or other individualized frequency and duration of services.
Transportation and meals are provided for ESY. Class assignments and transportation details (bus routes, pick-up times, etc.) are finalized the week before the ESY session starts.
